The Best Of: Drugstore Lips

So the title of this one is pretty self-explanatory: here are my top drugstore lip products! As you can see, I'm not really a lipgloss person. I prefer lipsticks, lacquers and crayons - products with high pigmentation and excellent wear time. Without further ado, here are the best I've found on the high street!

One of my go-to lip products of this year is this gorgeous, deep berry red from Revlon's ColorBurst Matte balms. These chunky crayons have a gorgeous peppermint scent, a wonderful, creamy texture and wear time of five to six hours - they even survive through mealtimes!

They may be the cheapest of this little selection, but the Seventeen Stay Pout lipstick range is not one to be overlooked. These lipsticks have serious pigmentation and a soft, creamy formula. They contain shea butter, which helps to keep lips hydrated and soft. The Stay Pout range has fifteen different shades, from pale pinks and nudes to deep reds, browns and bright oranges - definitely something for everyone!

The L'Oreal Infallible lip colours come in a liquid lipstick / lacquer form. It's a 2-in-1 product, with an intensely pigmented lip lacquer on one end, and a hydrating balm on the other. These babies have possibly the best staying power of the bunch - it takes a hell of a lot of cotton pads and micellar water to remove these! They dry with a slightly matte finish, but the balm keeps the lips glossy and moisturised.

Similar to the L'Oreal Infallibles, the Apocalips really pack a punch in terms of staying power. They may not be as nicely scented as L'Oreal's offering, but they're super pigmented and leave a slightly glossy finish. Plus they're that bit more budget friendly!

5. Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Matte lipsticks - €6.99, Boots

Last but certainly not least, I couldn't write a post like this without mentioning Kate Moss's famous collab with Rimmel, could I? I particularly love the matte collection, because within it lies one of my favourite lipsticks ever - 107, a gorgeous berry red, which also happens to be Zoella's lipstick of choice! They're not at all drying, which is rare for a matte lip product, and have pretty good staying power. There are currently four shades in the range - here's hoping Rimmel bring out more!

If you want to see what shades I have pictured above, want more info or just a peek at swatches, then click the titles of any of the products in the list, and they'll take you straight to a full review of each!
