Review: Pixi Mesmerising Mineral Palette in Copper Peach

10:54

Can we just take a moment to admire this pretty palette? Wow. Now that's a nude palette!

This gorgeous compilation of neutrals comes from Pixi's range of Mesmerising Mineral Palettes. This particular palette is called Copper Peach* and is compiled of six peach, bronze and russet shades. The mineral formula of the eyeshadows is intended to "reflect light away from imperfections" - also contains Vitamin E, to nourish and protect the delicate skin around the eye. Pretty genius idea!

The shades within Copper Peach are quite cleverly co-ordinated, in that the top three shades and bottom three shades work really well with each other. That being said, you can of course mix and match and create many unique looks of your own with this little palette.

There are no names on any of the shadows (boo!), so for the sake of this post, I'll give 'em numbers:

L-R:

1: pale nude highlight
2: shimmery pale taupe
3: dark matte chocolate brown
4: shimmery gold / champagne
5: warm russet (reddish-orange undertone)
6: shimmery warm bronze

The shadows are soft with varying pigmentation - the bottom three are somehow more pigmented than the top three; be cautious of fall out from the shimmery shades! The only problem I'd have with this palette is that the shadows are very warm in tone, more so than they appear in the pan - not usually something I'd go for, as I prefer cooler shades, more so on the taupe side of things. This is, of course, just my own personal preference! You can create a variety of subtle everyday looks to a more dramatic bronze smokey eye with this little palette.

You can pick up this Pixi palette for only €15.49 on The Hut - excellent value for money, as you get six gorgeous shades and a duo-ended applicator. The shades alone work out at only €2.50 each!

Have you tried this palette from Pixi?
