Review | Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm | Crush

Lip crayons have been such a huge trend over the last year, and in Revlon's case, it's easy to see why. Their version of the lip crayon comes in two forms - the original ColorBurst Balms, and their matte counterparts.

I've spoken about the matte balms before, but today I'm all about the original, glossy, ColorBurst balms. I adore the peppermint scent of these balm stains - there's nothing worse than a foul smelling lip product, in my opinion. Crush is a gorgeous berry coloured balm - very much on the purple side of things, and a nice change from the typical berry toned reds.

It's beautifully pigmented, can be applied in a quick swipe for a light wash of colour, or built up for something more intense and bold. The staying power's pretty good, for a balm - it just fades with wear, and leaves a pretty pink-y purple stain behind.

A big ol' thumbs up from me, and another win for the high street. The Revlon ColorBurst Balms are €10.99, in Boots. Grab them on their current 'two for €14' offer while you can!

Have you tried Revlon's lip crayons? Got any favourites?
